Northern Cyprus Beaches

Palm Beach, situated in the city of Famagusta, which dates back to the 13th century, has a unique seashore and is also located near important historical sites. Varosha, an area heavily damaged by a bombing attack in 1975 and conserved as is to this day, is located next to the beach. Palm Beach, which contains both a vivid and vibrating atmosphere and a closed area with silence, is a distinctive point that offers both amusement and the marks of history at the same time. 

It is unknown whether Aphrodite owes her beauty to being born on this beach, or the beach owes its radiance to Aphrodite. It is certain, however, that this beach is the most beautiful one on the whole island. This beach has a distinctly unique glamour, featuring its untouched seashore and surrounding virgin nature, which are far removed from urban areas; you can even see wild donkeys on the road. It is diligently protected as a nesting area for Caretta turtles. 

Glapsides, situated between Famagusta and the Karpas Peninsula, is an ideal beach for outdoor enthusiasts. It is a very long beach that hosts many water sport activities, including diving. The area harbors many camping resorts and, thus, many activities, such as beach volleyball.

There are two beaches located within one cove in Karavas (Alsancak)... The first section of the beach is the property of Denizkızı Hotel, whereas the second is of Golden Bay.
