January: Warm Days and Cool Nights 

January is the middle of winter in North Cyprus. The average temperature during the day is 14 to 16 degrees Celsius, and at night it can drop to 7 to 9 degrees Celsius.  It rains more often, but the rain usually only lasts a short time, and then the sky clears up. There might be some mist or light rain in the mountains, which would make the landscape peaceful and green. 

It's a peaceful, quiet month, perfect for exploring the culture, trying the local food, and taking walks in the countryside. 

February—The Sun Comes Back Gently 

The weather starts to become better in February. The average high temperature goes up to 17°C, and there are more sunny days than in January. The almond trees start to bloom, giving the valleys a soft pink and white colour. 

Evenings are still cool, but walking along Kyrenia Harbour or the Bellapais Monastery during the day is a lot of fun. February is a great time for travellers who enjoy mild weather and quiet places. 

March: The Beginning of Spring 

March brings spring with longer, sunnier days and temperatures rising to 20°C.  Wildflowers and citrus trees bloom, making the island come alive with colour. 

Before the summer heat sets in, this is one of the best months to walk in the Kyrenia Mountains or see the ancient ruins of Salamis. The water is starting to warm up, and the first swimmers of the year are having fun. 

April: New, Green, and Beautifully Warm 

April feels like the start of summer. The average high temperature is between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius, which is warm enough for the beach but still comfortable for outdoor activities. The temperature of the sea rises to about 20°C, and sunny days are common. 

This month is ideal for nature lovers and photographers because the countryside is green, flowers are everywhere, and the skies are clear. 

May: The Best Weather for a Vacation 

May is a wonderful month to go to North Cyprus. The weather is dry and sunny, with daytime highs of 27°C and pleasant evenings. 

The beaches start to fill up with people who want to sunbathe, and the water is warm enough to swim in. May is the best time of year because the weather is lovely and there aren't too many people or too much heat. Expect a lot of sun and calm, blue seas. 

June: Long, sunny days 

June marks the start of summer, which means bright sun, clear skies, and temperatures between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius. There is very little rain. The water is 25–26°C, which is ideal for swimming and other water sports. 

This week is the start of the fun holiday season. Beach clubs open, festivals start, and the coastlines come to life with energy. 

July: Hot and Lively 

Inland, temperatures can reach over 34°C in July, and on the coast, they can reach around 32°C. The sun shines for almost 12 hours a day. 

It's summer at the beach, which is great for people who like to swim, sunbathe or go out at night.  People who live there and people who visit often take a siesta in the middle of the day to stay away from the strongest sun. They come back to the beach in the late afternoon to watch the golden sunsets. 

August is the hottest month of the summer.

Many people like to travel in September. The weather is still hot, but it's more comfortable now, with average highs of about 30°C. The sea is still warm, and the crowds from summer are starting to go down. 

Couples and families who want perfect beach days in a calm setting will love this month. Evenings are warm enough to eat dinner outside by the sea. 

October: Warm Days and Quiet Beaches 

October brings a soft change towards autumn, but the weather is still lovely.  The sea stays warm at 25°C, and the daytime temperature stays around 27°C. 

This is a wonderful time to see the sights. You can explore castles, monasteries, and villages in the mild sun. During this time, the sunsets are especially beautiful. 

November: Peaceful, Cosy, and Full of Culture 

November is like a mild spring in Europe. The average high temperature is 22°C, which makes it ideal for walking, biking, and exploring. It rains sometimes, but there are still many sunny days.
