There is no precise information as to where the name Lefke comes from. Lefke, founded in 300 BC, is the strongest assumption that it was named after Prince Lefkon of the Egyptian dynasty. With its hotels, boutique hotels, spa and health centers, it offers safe and economical accommodation to its guests. The European University of Lefke has 5,000 students from different countries.
